Ok, here’s the real deal. Jason gives us his oh-so-brief Space Giraffe review, plus we get into more titles that SHOULD be on XBox Live Arcade alongside all the upcoming ones you might now know about. And we’re both VERY impressed by the awesomeness of the new Alien vs. Predator: Requiem trailer, and talk about what we’re hoping for.

It’s the Bioshock show! No, neither Jason nor I have played the full game yet, but that doesn’t stop us from talking about it. The recent rootkit, er, DRM concerns surrounding the game add a whole new perspective of the XBox 360 version for Jason. Plus, some Sony fanboys try to pass off their pseudo communist propaganda as a review. If you love Bioshock, then there’s a chance you might be able to resist vomiting while listening to this ep of the CTC.

King of Kong! Kong of King! Go watch the movie. We haven’t, but don’t let that stop you. Plus, the iPhone got unlocked. Now EVERYONE can overspend on their stupid ass gadgets! Yay! And I’m throwing down the gauntlet on Space Giraffe. If you’ve ever wanted to bring it, now is your chance. Any takers?

Space Giraffe is out! Get it now! What more can I say? I address the recent controversy about the rating that a certain OXM Dan gave the game, and how the developer, Jeff Minter responded. Yes, Dan is a fuckwit. Simple as that. Anywho, I give my impression of it, rundown the proper way to play for big points, and then leave it your hands to discover the game. Plus, we’ve got some serious email, and I’m sleepy. No, for reals. I’m tired. I go sleepy now. ZZZzzzzz…

Evening all. This episode, I found the solution to my XBLA woes, no thanks to the wonderful tech support of Microsoft. Tune in to learn how you can avoid ever having to speak to them to fix it. Also, we get some email! I dish out some advice on getting into comic books for n00bs, my impressions of the Stranglehold and a deeper discussion of my love for Bioshock. Egads! Commander Tim actually likes a modern videogame? What’s the world coming to?

OMFG I FRACKING HATE MICROSOFT XBOX TECH SUPPORT SO MUCH! CAPS LOCK! No seriously, tune in to hear my troubles with the brain trust that they obviously have answering the phones for them. I am literally seething with rage. Plus, I talk about all the fun I missed out on while my 360 was in the shop, and give my rundown and review of them, and it’s Wednesday so that means it’s Commander Tim Comic Book Recommendation Day! And a super-awesome shout-out to everyone for the donations! Pink Ninja has the best and most loyal fanbase ever. Period. Fuck Microsoft.

It’s a psychobilly freak-out! Monday on the Commander Tim Cast. Jason and I talk about the new Zephyr XBox 360 and my desire to “game” the XBLA point refund that comes with a replacement system. Jason spins another tale about his online dating craziness with a yarn about face tattoos and grey hair. Yet another iPhone vs. PocketPC talk, this time focusing on emulation of older games, and how I wish somebody would make a CBR (comic book reader) for the iPhone or smart phones in general. And that of course leads me into a tirade about how the major comic publishers need to start getting behind the idea of digital comic distribution, and I even outline how to properly implement it. Plus, an overview about how I’m the worst IM person on the planet and Jason’s hatred of Pownce. Email, technology, and general geekery, and keep an ear on the outro music, if you don’t get it, go listen to JargonGnome EP 12.
