Commander Tim Cast 093

And here it is…

Yes, the patience has paid off.  This is Commander Tim Cast 93, and I must tell you now, it is sans CountZer0.  Jason was off hunting zebra in the wilds of Africa this week, so to make sure that our audience received nothing but the highest quality show, we brought in the big gun…

Say hello again, to Dave Mussman.  Also known as MacDragon.

This episode is also different in the fact that it was recorded on my aging Powerbook G4, as my PC is officially dead.  Like dead dead.  It’s done.  It’s over.  I have been forced to retire the machine that was responsible for recording every single piece of podcasting I have ever done since 2005.  Tis a sad day.  Except for one thing… recording on the Mac is quite nice.  This ep, new computer talk, some Wii conversation, Microsoft XBox rumors, an explanation as to just WTF those things in the picture are (thanks Vicky!), and so much more.  What are you waiting for?  Listen now!  No show links this week because the conversations were pretty off the cuff, so there’s not much to link to.

Ritardo Mentalblock

Just thought I’d share the joy. “What up, buddieeeee?”

All hail the Day Job Orchestra.

Commander Tim Cast 092

Oh internets, whatever shall we do with you?

Much like the Joker, we have a boner. No, no, not the kind Jason gets when a guy walks by in a Speedo. The other kind, the kind the Joker had, a screw up. Ok, not that this is screwed up, but man, lately our shows haven’t been our strongest. Chalk it up to everyone’s life schedules getting thrown out of whack I suppose. We’ll make a concentrated effort to do better! Jason and I are in an intensive 5-day podcasting bootcamp as we speak. Srsly. Anyway, Commander Tim Cast 92. Microsoft is rumored to buy Sega, the XBox 360 is rumored to get a price-cut, Jason picked up Metal Gear Solid 4 and says it’s the best cutscene he’s ever purchased, oh and we laugh at the Apple zealots who confuse smudges with cameras. Kind of like confusing a Ferrari with a bulldozer. Silly fanboys…

Hit the jump for the links, suckas!

Commander Tim Cast 091

Episode 91 comin’ at ya! And to make up for the rather light load of topics last week, we’re overcompensating (as we are known to do). There is a fantastic amount of things going on this time;

  • Lots of Pink Ninja Studios news, including a facelift for JargonGnome and Gaming Clarity
  • Sega Rally 3 is in arcades… sadly, none near me
  • Duke Nukem Forever gameplay. No, this isn’t the start of a joke. It’s real.
  • Billy Mitchell gets his own trading card… only 3 more signs of the apocalypse to go!

And that’s just a taste! Listen to the show for the whole scoop, and hit the jump to get links for everything we discussed. Oh, and for some reason, this episode contains more vulgar conversations and language than usual. Viewer discretion is advised.

Dear Apple fans…

It’s a fucking phone.

Love,

Commander Tim

Commander Tim Cast 090

Our first attempt at a live show. We didn’t widely promote it… just a post on the forum and one on Pownce. We wanted a small audience to test the waters. I’ll leave it at that… Instead, I’ll hit the bullet points in the style of a 1950’s radioactive monster movie poster:

FEAR me talking too fast ’cause I’m nervous as hell about having a camera on me!

MARVEL at our complete and total lack of preparation of this weeks show!

SO SHOCKING, YOU WON’T BELIEVE YOUR EARS!

No really, when I actually listened to the episode prior to posting it, I realized it wasn’t as bad as I feared. Thanks to everyone that hung out and chatted with us during the video broadcast!
