Off into the digital sunset…

Hard-ridin' gamin' heroes

The hard-ridin', hard-drivin', gaming heroes.

For anyone out there that enjoys hearing my dulcet tones radiating out of your computer’s speakers as often as possible, have I got a treat for you! I was recently honored with an invitation to be the guest on the latest episode of the Digital Cowboys podcast. For anyone not familiar, it’s a UK based video game/technology show hosted by a couple of guys named Alex and Tony. The episode was all about the history of the Sega Dreamcast, and they asked me to come on and bring my encyclopedic knowledge of all things Sega with me. I had a blast being on the show, and heartily recommend everyone to give them a listen. Their show is drop-dead hilarious, and their passion for creating quality entertainment oozes out of every second of audio. As far as I’m concerned, these guys are the best kept secret in podcasting.

  1. Great show! I am a bit biased on your dulcet tones, however, I also am biased on your vast encyclopedic knowledge of the miscellany of gaming.

Alex and Tony have a great show – they are truly and grossly underrated in the podcast world. I’m a new subscriber and I’m going back to listen to some of their more recent shows. Great stuff.

  2. Having found the Game Hounds podcast via Digital Cowboys it was great to hear your input into Ep 103. Both shows have become weekly listens on my BlackBerry as I drive too and from work each day, or last thing at night even though doing so normally sees me staying awake until 01:00 or later, even on a ’school’ night! Hope to hear you again over on DC at some point, and of course on GH too.

Oh, and all this talk of classic systems is making me want to go up in the loft, or attic as you may call it, and dig out my old N64, Dreacast or maybe even my Atari Lynx! Damn, when did I get so old!
