Ripped from the headlines…
Straight from The Widget forum:
I’ll keep this short.
The list of Widget happenings:
———-
I got an email from the producers of Torrent, a show on G4TechTV Canada, and they are going to air “Tim’s Retro Corner: Sega Genesis” on an upcoming episode. Paperwork has been filled out and hands have been shaken. Yeah, we’re kind of a big deal.
http://www.g4techtv.ca/torrentMike has spoken to the producers, and we will be furnished with a Divx rip of the episode to use for promotion. I assure you guys, you WILL see this.

There is a new video project in the works. This is NOT a Widget production in the pure sense, but we will be helping to distribute it and it will bear our brand. No more info just yet, but it will be released in the Widget RSS feed, so keep yourself subscribed. Filming starts today (9/11/06), and I’m the only Widget cast member in it as a bit part. This isn’t an informational piece… you will be witnessing the firepower of a fully armed and operational production.

We (the production team) are in talks for some rather awesome interviews. Not piddly shit either. We’re talking good stuff. And not just video game related either, we may be branching into some REAL celebrity. Romero and Hall were just the teaser… again, stay subscribed, ’cause you never know.

There, I said I’d be short. I’m damn busy at the moment, so don’t confuse my abruptness as being mean or dodgy, I’ve just been running at 1000mph for the last few weeks. But yes, things are in motion, and none of us were looking for them to be. We thought things were over just as much as the rest of you…
Ok, that’s all I’ve got for now. I need a personal assistant or something… anybody willing to bust your ass for a stale Twinkie every month?

Whew. Ok, that’s all I’ve got! Hope that answers some questions (and raises others). Talk to you guys soon.
